Group Classes
Group classes are a great way to socialize your dog or puppy and teach the obedience basics: come, heel, sit, down, and stay. But you will learn a lot more than that when you take one of our group classes!
Leash & Social Manners
5 weeks - $150
Our most popular class! This class is for anyone whose dog pulls, barks, or doesn't have the best manners when approaching other dogs or people. It is also great for dogs that are shy or wary of other people or dogs, as well as those that are easily excitable and like to jump up on people they meet.
This is almost entirely a walking class so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. We will walk around the park, practicing loose leash walking and teaching each dog how to approach other dogs and people in an appropriate manner. Shy dogs will have ample opportunities to receive positive interactions from strangers and all dogs are respected to progress through this class at their own pace. Attendees of this class must have had at least one private lesson with us prior to the class.

Puppy Socialization
6 weeks - $150
You probably know that socialization is one of the most important things you can do for your puppy, but did you know that doing it incorrectly could cause a lot more harm than good? Let us start you off on the right foot with our Puppy Socialization class.
This is a fun, loosely-structured class that allows the dogs supervised open play time with other dogs their relative age and size. Meanwhile, you will learn the basics of dog communication, when behavior is inappropriate and how to intervene when necessary. Depending on your dog's age, basic commands such as "sit," "down," and "stay," etc. may also be introduced. In addition, we will answer all your puppy-related questions and troubleshoot any issues you may be having with housetraining, jumping, teething, or other behavioral concerns.
All puppies must be between the ages of 2-6 months and be able to show proof of at least their first two sets of vaccinations. In the event of holidays, class will not meet on the holiday but will be postponed until the following week instead.

Basic Obedience
6 weeks - $150
If your dog is starting from scratch with training or needs some brushing up on "the basics," this is the class for you.
In this class, your dog will learn to "sit," "down," "stay," "come," "heel," "wait," "watch," "touch," and "leave it." That's a lot to learn in just six weeks, so students will be expected to practice these exercises at home with their dogs several times a day every day between classes.
Those who can demonstrate their dog reliably performing the commands by the end of the six weeks will be rewarded with a Pet Peeves Training Diploma of Basic Obedience and will be eligible to enroll in the Intermediate Obedience class.
Proof of vaccinations or titer is required. In the event of holidays, class will not meet on the holiday but will be postponed until the following week instead.

Intermediate Obedience
6 weeks - $150
Is your dog ready for the next step in obedience training?
Once your dog has an understanding of the basic commands, you'll want to fine-tune them. In this class we'll work on teaching your dog to respond to a command the FIRST time it is given (rather than the third) and challenging him in more distracting environments. We'll also practice longer distance and duration "stays," and transitioning our dogs to working off-leash when they are ready.
This class is only open to those who have successfully completed our Basic Obedience class and earned their diploma.
In the event of holidays, class will not meet on the holiday but will be postponed until the following week instead.
